The bills introduced by Del. Chris Head, R-Botetourt County, and Sen. Steve Newman, R-Lynchburg, would settle questions about the park’s governance and, potentially, make more resources accessible. Head and Newman serve on the park’s oversight board, the Virginia Recreational Facilities Authority.
