Carr Symposium on Creative Uses of Wood in Design at Virginia Tech

On Monday, March 21st, our friends at Virginia Tech are hosting the Mitchell O. Carr Symposium on Creative Uses of Wood in Design.  Boasting a roster of top architects, designers, and fabricators from around the country, the presentations will highlight new advances in wood design and fabrication.  The symposium is a collaborative effort by the Departments of Sustainable Biomaterials, Architecture, and Building Construction.  There are up to (5) CEU’s available and registration can be found online.  Cost to attend is $50 and includes dinner.  Did we mention you will see a series of wood pickup truck campers designed and built by student teams as part of a 3-day competition?
