3rd Annual Saturday Charrette for Middle Schoolers – April 8th in Blacksburg
The Blue Ridge Chapter of the AIA will be hosting the third annual Saturday Charrette on Saturday April 8th from 10 am – 6pm in Cowgill Hall of the Virginia Tech campus. Creative, driven and dynamic student candidates from grades 6, 7, and 8 compete in a design charrette. These students have been recommended by their teachers and will be placed in small groups, each assigned to a local architect and Virginia Tech student adviser. These groups will develop a design solution, build a model, and present their ideas to a panel of judges. The winner will be announced and awarded recognition. Please check back soon to see the results.
