This free training covers the specific accessibility requirements of the Fair Housing Act, areas of overlap with Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and the ADA, as well as the benefits and application of Universal Design principles.

Presenter Susan Scovill is a fair housing consultant who is currently Director of Curriculum & Instruction for the National Fair Housing Training Academy, is licensed as a fair  housing instructor by the Virginia Real Estate Board, has served on the faculty of the National Fair Housing Alliance’s Fair Housing School, was Director of Fair Housing Education and Enforcement for Housing Opportunities Made Equal (HOME) of Virginia, and was a former administrator of the Virginia Fair Housing Office.
