Our Policies

AIA Blue Ridge is committed to following the highest standards of professionalism, integrity, competence, and ethical practice. This overview details the standards that all AIA members and the AIA Blue Ridge Board follows. 

Strategic Plan

Our Strategic Plan is the lens through which AIA Blue Ridge evaluates current programs and develops new initiatives. The strategic plan was developed with input from stakeholders including the 2022 Board of Directors and members. It strengthens and advances our mission and vision by translating goals and ideals into realistic, tangible strategies. The Board will update our Strategic Plan every three to five years.

Governance Policies

The Governance Policies are intended to provide a convenient resource documenting the responsibilities of AIA BR Board members and operations of the Chapter, particularly for new Board members. Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion

AIA Blue Ridge upholds AIA National’s Statement on Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion. Our Vision is to make AIA Blue Ridge a diverse, inclusive group of design professionals who empower its members and partner with the community to promote excellent design in our region. Anti-Harassment

AIA Blue Ridge upholds AIA National’s Non-Discrimination, Anti-Harassment, and Complaint Policy.
