AIA Blue Ridge recognizes the outstanding design by practitioners and students in our region from the last eight years. We received submissions of built and unbuilt projects for recognition in our biannual Design + Honor Awards in a variety of categories: Architecture, Extended Use, Interiors, Detail, Small Projects, and Student work. These entries represented a wide variety of project sizes, building types, and design solutions that the Jury assessed on the basis of the solution to the problem presented and its worthiness for an award for excellence in architecture and design.
The 2022 Design + Honor Awards were presented at the Fralin Biomedical Research Institute at VTC on the evening of September 30, 2022.
